With the energy, water and waste industries needing 312,300 new entrants by 2030, the pressure to build a more diverse, skilled and resilient workforce has never been greater. Statkraft UK’s membership with Energy & Utility Skills strengthens shared efforts to enhance representation and support emerging green priorities which will help deliver the long-term ambitions set out in the Skills Strategy 2025–2030.
As Europe’s largest renewable generator, operating for 130 years, Statkraft is at the heart of the UK’s energy transition. Not only leaders in renewable market trading, they also develop wind, solar, hydro, battery and grid stability projects to enable the shift to clean power for UK people. Their projects and activities strengthen the UK’s energy security, stabilising energy bills, whilst supporting jobs, bringing local investment, and biodiversity enhancements.
