Nigel’s career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to skills, apprenticeships, and the future of our sector.

He has Chaired the Regional Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, a B2B network with over 400 local businesses and apprentices with a common passion for apprenticeships.

Through his leadership of the EUSP Attract & Inspire group, he brought a clear vision for the future, recognising the importance of engaging the next generation and raising awareness of careers in energy, water, and the growing green industries. He has worked across industry, government, and education to ensure our sector has the skills it needs to thrive in a changing world.

Not only has he influenced strategy, but also inspired people. Mentoring employers and apprentices, championing diversity and inclusion, and always ensuring that skills development remained at the heart of our sector’s success.
