On 27 June 2024, Energy & Utility Skills delivered the ‘Careers of the Future’ webinar, led by the Sector Attraction & Retention Strategy Group.
The webinar examined future skills requirements and roles, regardless of entry routes (e.g., school leaver, graduate, industry mover). It opened with an overview of the anticipated skills demand over the next five years, highlighting a projected 650,000 vacancies, followed by insights from Employer organisations on what the future looks like for them, and concluding with a Q&A session.
