Energy & Utility Skills are pleased to confirm Mumtaz Patel, Head of Operational Transition Investment and Future Energy at Cadent has been appointed Chair of the National Skills Academy for Gas’ Hydrogen Skills Network.
Mumtaz brings extensive experience from her role strategically defining and framing the transition of Cadent Operations to a hydrogen future. This includes Network Assets and Safety, People, Process and systems. Developing and executing a portfolio of technology and R&D trials to facilitate a hydrogen future.
Mumtaz will Chair triannual meetings of the Hydrogen Skills Network formed in 2023, which over the next three years (2024-27), will collectively address strategic skills issues in the evolving Hydrogen industry, emphasizing collaborative actions. They aim to support the industry-wide delivery of a long-term, sustainable skilled workforce and deliver the Hydrogen industry priorities within the strategy set by the National Skills Academy for Gas.
