Overview of the 2024 Energy & Utility Skills Conference and Awards:

Ticket information:

Early Bird – £325 plus VAT – On sale now – includes conference and awards attendance including 3 course dinner and entertainment.

Day ticket – £195 plus VAT – On sale until 7 October 2025 – Includes conference attendance. This includes tea/coffee breaks and lunch. The event finishes at 5:00pm. This ticket does not include entry to the awards.

Sponsorship Packages:

If you’d like to purchase one of the below sponsorship packages, please contact conference@euskills.co.uk.

  • Name of the sponsoring organisation will be included on all media as the Conference Sponsor 
  • 10 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • The sponsorship will be shown on the Energy & Utility Skills conference/event website.  
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo will be shown during the conference and awards presentation (i.e. shown on the big screen) via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference/evening awards event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 
  • When the award is sponsored, the name of the sponsoring organisation will be included in the title. For example ‘The Gas Industry Apprentice of the Year Award, sponsored by National Gas’ 
  • 10 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • The updated award title will be shown on the Energy & Utility Skills conference/event website.  
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo will be shown during the award presentation (i.e. shown on the big screen) 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference/evening awards event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed throughout the conference and evening event via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo will be exclusively shown throughout the ‘Welcome Drinks’ time during the event 
  • 10 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • The sponsoring organisation may bring their own marketing assets – i.e. banners/handouts to be shared during the ‘Welcome Drinks’ time. 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference/evening awards event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed throughout the conference and evening event via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 
  • 2 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • Energy & Utility Skills will present each conference day delegate with a reusable canvas bag. On one side will be Energy & Utility Skills Conference logo/identity. On the other will be the logo of the sponsor. This logo must be provided by the sponsor.  
  • The sponsor is welcome to include in each bag limited marketing material. This marketing material must be created/sourced by the sponsor and will need to be approved by Energy & Utility Skills prior to printing/publication. 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference/evening awards event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed throughout the conference and evening event via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 
  • 2 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • 3X2 meter (minimum) exhibition space during the Day Conference (access from approx. 9am on day of the conference until conference closure, estimated 5:15pm)  
  • The exhibiting organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference/evening awards event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The exhibiting organisations logo will be displayed throughout the conference and evening event via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The exhibiting organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo will be exclusively shown throughout lunch time during the conference 
  • 2 tickets for the Day Event and the Evening Awards Event (table location to be determined by Energy & Utility Skills) 
  • The sponsoring organisation may bring their own marketing assets – i.e. banners/handouts to be shared during lunch time. 
  • The sponsoring organisation’s logo and contact information will be included the conference event app with contact information of their choice 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed throughout the conference via tv screens throughout the venue 
  • The sponsoring organisations logo will be displayed on the photo opportunity wall, where all formal pictures will be taken. 

Energy & Utility Skills Awards:

Nominations for the following award categories will be accepted from 5 May to 20 June 2025.

Award categories:

  • Water Industry Apprentice of the Year
  • Energy from Waste Industry Apprentice of the Year
  • Power Industry Apprentice of the Year
  • Gas Industry Apprentice of the Year
  • Attraction, Recruitment Campaign or Initiative of the Year
  • Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year
  • Training Provision of the Year Award (for micro/small training organisations – 2-50 employees)
  • Training Provision of the Year Award (for medium/large organisations – 50+ employees)
  • Skills Collaboration Initiative of the Year
  • Employer of the Year

There are two additional awards available which we won’t be accepting nominations for. The shortlist for these awards will be decided by the judging panel when they are reviewing all nominations.
