What do you enjoy most about working at Energy & Utility Skills?
I really appreciate the flexibility and family environment that exists at Energy & Utility Skills. Everyone talks to and cares about one another– we’re recognised as people as well as employees.
I also value the opportunities I have been given to progress in my role. Recognising my knowledge and skill set, I was encouraged by the company to apply for the role of EUSR Operations Manager. At first, I thought the interview would be good practice if nothing else, but I actually got the job!
My new role has opened a whole host of professional development opportunities for me, which has included becoming an effective line manager and building strong relationships with colleagues across the business. I really enjoy managing my team and helping them reach their personal and professional goals. Making sure positive working relationships exist within the team is really important to me, as I’m keen to ensure we are all able to work to the best of our abilities.
Everyone at Energy & Utility Skills embraces the company values and it’s a friendly and open environment to work in. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given here.
