For the past two years, Energy & Utility Skills have been working with over 50 Chief Executives who have made a commitment towards improving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the sector.
This commitment and the actions being taken, are monitored through the Inclusion Measurement Framework and then published in an annual report.
The aim is to create a comprehensive benchmark, which can then provide clear evidence of where the sector and individual employers can take action to progress diversity and inclusion.
We are also extending last year’s CEO survey to include senior leaders. This will provide a unique snapshot of the views of sector CEOs and their leadership teams on what leading on inclusion means for them, as well as providing insights into their diversity journeys to positions of leadership.
With the help of The Equal Group, we are just about to start collecting data for this year’s survey, which we hope will be our largest and most representative sample yet.
We are looking for the input of organisations across the energy and utilities sector, who can register to submit data through The Equal Group.
Participation is free of charge to any company within the sector.
Data submission will be open from 1 September until 14 October 2022. Register now to receive a link to submit data when the submission window opens.
Don’t worry if you think you might not have every bit of data you need as an organisation – we are looking for as complete a picture as you are able to provide.
Participating companies can also have access to up to one hour’s support from The Equal Group to assist with filling in their submission.
The results from last year’s survey are available on our website.
