QuartzWeb users need to be aware of a change we are making within QuartzWeb regarding the addresses we hold for your centre.
Current Situation
You are able to add two different types of addresses for your centre within QuartzWeb
- ‘Main Site’ – meant to be the main location for your organisation
- ‘Delivery Site’ – the return address to which you want to cards for the batch sent.
You are currently able to add as many ‘Main Site’ and ‘Delivery Site’ addresses as you like (Centre Management >Amend Sites). When you create a batch, you choose a ‘Main Site’ address and a ‘Delivery Site’ address from the drop down boxes – the addresses mirroring those you have created in your centre record. There is no limit to the number of ‘Main Site’ and ‘Delivery Site’ addresses you can have against your centre.
When you create a batch, because of the way QuartzWeb is constructed, both types of address are available for you to select when entering the ‘Main Site’ address and ‘Delivery Site’ address in a batch i.e. you can choose an address you have set as a ‘Main Site’ address as a ‘Delivery Site’ address and vice versa.
Please Note – ‘Delivery Site’ is called ‘Return Address (Cards)’ within Centre Management>Amend Sites – they are one and the same thing as ‘Delivery Site’
In some centres, there are many ‘Main Site’ addresses recorded, therefore making it difficult for us to identify which address is the primary or head office address.
The Change (9 September 2019)
Only one ‘Main Site’ will be recorded against your centre in QuartzWeb. This will be the primary or head office address for your centre – for example the address we would use for any contracts or agreements, or if we had to advise you of any new regulatory requirements or GDPR issues. You will still be able to add as many ‘Delivery Site’ (or Return Address (Cards) ) addresses as required.
What Will Be Different for You?
Changing your ‘Main Site’ address
If you wish to amend or change the ‘Main Site’ address we hold for your centre in QuartzWeb, please email us at eusr@euskills.co.uk and we will make that change for you; the request will need to be made by your Head of Centre or Lead Administrator.
Adding or deleting ‘Delivery Site’ addresses
You can continue to add as many ‘Delivery Site’ (or Return Address (Cards) ) addresses as you wish. If you no longer need a ‘Delivery Site’ address, you can expire them in Centre Management>Amend Sites
Choosing addresses when creating a batch
The only address that you will be able to change for each batch is the ‘Delivery Site’ address.
If you want to record where the training took place
Both the ‘Batch Description’ and ‘Provider Reference’ boxes within a batch allow free flow text. You can use these text boxes to record any information you want about the batch, such as training delivery address, end-customer name etc.
Approved Providers only
We will be manually checking that the only ‘Main Site’ address listed against your centre is your primary or head office address. We will change all other addresses listed into ‘Delivery Site’ addresses – this means they will still all be listed when you are choosing a return address for cards when creating a batch. If you no longer need a ‘Delivery Site’ address, you can expire them in Centre Management>Amend Sites
Check your addresses
Next time you log into QuartzWeb, please check that the ‘Main Site’ address is correct – if it isn’t, please call or email the EUSR Support team – contact details below.
