What do you enjoy most about working at Energy & Utility Skills?
The people. Energy & Utility Skills everyone is encouraged and given the opportunity to work with at least one other department. The communication between teams creates a great, friendly atmosphere across the whole company. I thoroughly enjoy my role as Credit Controller and look forward to coming to work every day. I don’t just view my job as a way to make ends meet.
Career progression is important to me. I am very fortunate as Energy & Utility Skills is sponsoring me to gain a Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) level 3 & 4 qualification only adds to my enjoyment of working here. Not only has this qualification increased my financial and business understanding, it also gives me the tools and skills I need to perform my role to the best of my abilities. It has also enabled me to better support the business achieve its strategic goals. As a result, I have the confidence to work more collaboratively with my fellow colleagues.
I’m in my last year of studying for my AAT qualification. The support I have received from the business and fellow colleagues, both financially and personally, has been invaluable.
