Talent Source Network, is delighted to be shortlisted in the ‘Partnership Initiative of the Year’ category at this year’s Network Awards.
Formed by Energy & Utility Skills , in partnership with 27 leading sector organisations, Talent Source Network is a collaboration that aims to address the sector’s workforce and skills challenges. Employers recognised the need for mass talent attraction to deliver on sector resilience and sustainability, which is at the core of the sector’s Workforce Renewal & Skills Strategy.
The Network connects employers, talent and partners across the power, gas, water and waste industries and showcases the depth and breadth of career opportunities available in the sector. The primary focus of the network is to be inclusive of all target talent and reach out to underrepresented communities, as part of the sectors work to improve the diversity of its workforce. Significant progress has been made with raising profile in female and BAME communities,
The Partnership Initiative of the Year award recognises an alliance, or other form of collaborative partnership, that has delivered outstanding benefits in the last year. The awards panel recognise that Talent Source Network breaks new ground, encouraging policy makers and regulators to work with employers to compete for skilled, diverse and emerging talent.
The shortlisting demonstrates the significance of initiatives such as Talent Source Network and recognises some of the key efforts the Network has contributed to over the past year, within the sector.
